Read what Larry Johnson says: Carefully

First, I realize this has been blogged and yes, I could have posted it as a comment. However, after thinking it through, I think it merits particular note.

As many on DKos know (especially if you Booman) Larry Johnson made This promise yesterday

New and dramatic developments. This is a heads up. I’ll post the news Monday morning by 0900 hours. Now I know why people who have seen the videotape say it is stunning. Barack’s headaches are only starting.

Did you think Larry was going to post a video with Michele Obama saying "why'd he" (say several times fast) and claim she said "whitey."? Did you think Larry really had a video? Surely, he had at least seen a video, right?

And then read what Larry Johnson says;

I have not seen it but I have heard from five separate sources who have spoken directly with people who have seen the tape. It features Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan.

That's right: Larry Johnson does not have a tape. He will not be posting a tape. LArry Johnson has not even seen the tape. Nor has he spoken directly to anyone who has seen the tape.

He claims he has spoken to people who claim to have spoken to people who have seen the tape.

In other words, yesterday he claims there will be a new development. Today he comes up with wildly improbably claims about Michele Obama being on a panel with Farrakhan at Trinity United Church of Christ. As others have blogged (tip of the hat to you) this is wildly improbable.

His new development is further fueling of rumor that he started.

I could go on a lot more-but this is as far as I can see the lowest that a Clinton supporter has stooped to. And yes, as someone else somewhere pointed out this is all starting to take on the aura of a CIA psyops campaign. I don't believe "The CIA" itself is directly involved. I simply think that Larry, and who knows-maybe others-who have done this kind of thing elsewhere or know the playbook have decided to run their own private little psyops campaign.
